Afia's delicious African dishes and wonderful ambiance made the dinner memorable. Can't wait to eat Afia's food again!

Afia is so generous and kind. I really enjoy how open and friendly she is as a chef. She opens up her home to her dinner guests and shows them a delicious feast to share her culture with everyone. It was so delicious. My husband and I enjoyed it immensely. Most of all we enjoyed her gracious spirit.
She is awesome, very friendly and inviting and her food is great. I also loved how she set-up the dinner. She set it up like a living room so the guests had more of an opportunity to communicate. We spent the night chatting with a couple that was so interesting. We had a great time.
Afia is an amazing Chef and the sweetest person. My husband and I had a wonderful time and the whole experience was just perfect! The food, the people, the environment. Looking forward for the next one!
Chef Afia has such a warm and inviting personality. I loved that each dish she presented, showcased a different region/part of Africa. I came away that night with a desire to discover more of her culture. You can tell that she that she puts so much care, effort, and soul into each of her dishes. She is amazing!

Truly a feast and delicious! The skin on the turkey looked nicely crisp so I was surprised to find out the meat was very moist and tasty. All other dishes were quite unique and equally delicious. Afia also tops in the hospitality area as well. The atmosphere felt like going a a friend's Thanksgiving dinner. Thanks Chef!

I was my first Feastly meal and I enjoyed it very much. The food was delicious and the presentation quite nice. I liked the interesting flavors and spices from Africa.

The evite experience was just lovely. My friends and I sat at a table of 10 and got to know people throughout the night. Everyone was very friendly and generous. Afia came out several times to interact with the crowd, to explain the historical roots of her cooking, and to answer individual questions. I am not a vegan myself, but appreciated the combination of flavors and textures in each of the dishes served. Being from Brazil, I really appreciated her use of palm oil and plantains in the dishes. It felt a little like being home. The presentation was also lovely. Most of all, her personality was intoxicating. What a great night!
Fantastic meal! Chef Afia's food is delicious, thoughtful and well prepared. Everything was cooked perfectly. After the 6 courses, we were all stuffed!

The atmosphere she created was rustic, romantic, and welcoming, made even better by her infectious personality & an array of extraordinary dishes! Undoubtedly, 5 stars!
Chef Afia was outstanding! Her haute African cuisine prepared with a unique melange of colorful organic ingredients was dazzling to the tastebuds visually stunning. The combination of herbs and spices was authentic to the region, and the generous portions were wholesome and very satisfying. The African music was wonderful and the setting was warm and comfortable. I highly recommend this experienced chef if you wish to experience genuine African dining. I look forward to the next event.

Dinner at Chef Afia's Table never disappoints. Every dish she makes are full of flavors. Her home is filled with warmth. She always makes you feel welcome. Silence filled the table the first few moments after Seafood Akple was served. Everyone was busy eating! The flavors blends together, you can tell that there was a lot work put in to the dish. Thank you, Afia, for an awesome dinner.

This was an experience of a lifetime! We are now regulars and haven't been disappointed with afia's choice of dishes. Every bite is a sample of her love for what she does and for that my wife and I thank her from the bottom of our hearts!
Sooo..... This was my second feastly with Chef Afia, for reasons that everything she touches turns to GOLD! Her cuisines are absolutely amazing and if I could have it my way I would eat her cooking every single day!

The food, the atmosphere, and Afia's hospitality came together to create one of the most unique and special meals I have ever had. I would recommend her to anyone, as her approachability makes you feel welcome and her creations make your stomach feel just as good. An excellent night and one I will remember.

Fantastic!!! Everything was delicious. Turkey was so moist! best stuffing I have ever had, and the tart at the end was dreamy.
We really enjoyed the intimate setting, and the delicious food. Great food combination with a well timed serving. Afia has a fun, charming personality that adds to the food and the presentation.
The food was amazing. It was a great venue and was also a lot of fun chatting with and getting to know the other guests.
Afia shines again! This is my third amazing meal from Afia and the first vegan one. I can't get the okra dish out of my head, so perfectly seasoned. It was a large, festive interesting crowd as well. Great time. Can't wait for the next one!
Alia's dishes -- from different areas of the African continent -- were first of all a feast for the eye -- beautifully presented. Each was an intriguing blend of flavors and ingredients -- all super delicious. The chef herself was extremely warm and welcoming and presented her dishes with an entertaining explanation of their origins and ingredients, A lot of friendly conversation among fellow diners -- overall a totally fun evening. I'll definitely be back to sample more of Chef Afia's wonderful cuisine!

I enjoyed the delicious dinner and had a wonderful time. Afia is very thoughtful and courteous. I mentioned that i don't eat any mammal, so she prepare some vegetarian dishes for me.
The whole evening was incredible. The food was delicious and unlike anything we've had before. Afia was bubbly and fun and infused her passion and story into the meal.
I cannot say enough about this meal. DELICIOUS!! Complex flavors that blended perfectly AND healthy. Chef Afia has a special relationship with food because she knows what flavors and textures work together. Find another event that she is hosting, highly recommend. Loved every single bite. Location was beautiful, an open spaced room in the arts district with a view. The room was decorated to match the theme of the meal and felt warm and inviting. Everything looked great! There was even cool Moroccan music playing to tie everything together. Great experience. Will do it again and look forward to another one of Afia's meals specifically. Thank you.

The presentation and food were excellent. The chef know the history and background of the food and she was very charming in her dialogue with the diners.
The food was a taste to the continent of Africa. One was able to indugle in tradition while experiencing all sorts of different countries within Africa. Beautifully prepared and beautifully presented. Chef Afia has a gift and if I were you, I would not miss the next chance to engage in her dishes. The price was unreal for 6 courses...yes 6 courses...meaning super reasonable.
